DIY Blackberry Peppermint Lip Balm

I decided to try my hand at making some lip balm and it was pretty easy.  Not only was it easy, but the lip balm smelled and tasted wonderful.  It makes my lips feel good too.  I wanted to make it smell and taste good so I used blackberry and peppermint, and those scents and flavors blend very well.

Make a water bath with an inch of water in a pan and heat the water.  Then in a heat safe pyrex measuring cup or bowl, put the beeswax, cocoa butter and a little of the coconut oil and melt them together.  Once they are melted, you can add the rest of the coconut oil, the honey, and the extract.  Once they are all mixed and melted together, take them out of the water/stove, and add the peppermint.  Then you need to quickly pour it into the Lip BalmTubes as the balm will cool very quickly.  It fills about 5 lip balm containers.

I am in love with the flavor and the feel of this lip balm, and 5 containers should last me a very long time.
